guided meditation

Our much anticipated meditation series for optimizing your mental and physical health will available for our community FOR FREE.

Marin McCue, founder of dope(a)me mind-body-life coaching, has graciously offered to help support us by creating a series of three guided meditations.

The practice of calming your nervous systems down, even just for 10-15 minutes a day, can be life changing. Marin will explain all this when we get started.

Here’s what we can expect. If you want to call it a challenge go for it!

Day 1 will be all about getting grounded with basic functional breathing in a 10 minute guided meditation.

Day 2 will get into being response-able versus reactive with an 11 minute embodiment practice guided meditation.

Day 3 will offer us support for managing emotion and stress with a 43 minute Yoga Nidra guided meditation.

Try them all and pick the one you like best, or do all three over and over again, for free. Why not sign up?

How to sIgn up!

If you’re already on our mailing list, keep an eye out. It is free to our community before it is available on our blog later this summer.

My experience

I said last week that I’d get more into my morning routine. Juggling all the things, as we do… I can’t live without some form of meditation at least 1-2 times a week, whether it’s guided or on my own. My favorite times are first thing in the morning or before bed. I talk a bit about my morning routine in my last post. I’ll be kind to myself and only say I’m NOT a morning person. But I need to be up at 5 a.m. at least 3x a week to get all the things done. So laying in bed listening to a meditation first thing helps make me SO much more pleasant. I love how it clears my head before bed too (it puts me to sleep). It’s also great when I can break up a work day — laying down (and falling asleep for a few minutes) while listening then getting up feeling refreshed is THE BEST. Marin’s guided meditations are some of my go to’s.

When limited for time or when I had a newborn baby, shorter guided meditations were ideal. Fitting in a longer one when you can is nice but you may find you don’t need more than 10 minutes anyway.
