when to put baby on sleep schedule or program

Determining what age to put your infant on a sleep program is highly individual. There’s research showing that putting newborns on a schedule right from birth provided parent’s with more uninterrupted sleep, less stress generally, and more confidence when responding to their infants at night. Always consult your healthcare practitioner to discuss the sleep program you have in mind and to ensure your baby is a good candidate for that program. Some circumstances may include: low birth weight, weight loss, low immunity, premature birth, or other health concerns.
