signs baby has ear infection
Some signs to watch for that may indicate your infant has an ear infection include:

  • tugging/pulling on the problem ear
  • fussing or crying for no apparent reason
  • a fever, and/or
  • slight hearing loss (this is due to the fluid build-up behind the ear drum and will most likely be temporary) which may look like:
    • not responding to soft sounds, appear to be inattentive, turning head to unaffected side, and/or
    • if they can talk it’s in a louder voice then normal.

If your child shows signs of an ear infection, please consult a Naturopathic physician or a healthcare provider.
