Passion flower (Passiflora incarnata) health benefits

Passion flower (Passiflora incarnata) is a mild to moderate sedative that is indicated in cases of anxiety, persistent insomnia and during periods of increased stress. It is useful as a dried herb or in the more potent form as a herbal extract. There are constituents in this herb that can produce vivid dreams in some people so I would suggest using the dried herb first or lower doses of the extract form.
