health benefits of Rhodiola rosea

Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is one of my favourite adrenal supportive herbs. When a herb supports the adrenal glands, we refer to it as an adaptogen. It is used to increase energy levels, improve mental and physical performance, and increase concentration. Often shift workers find rhodiola helps reset their internal clocks when coming off of a night shift. Start with a low dose of this herb as too much too quickly can be quite stimulating for some and can increase feelings of anxiety.
