In some strange and paradoxical way, life seemed to be much more busy and intense for many of us during the forced slow down. Despite the pause, there are varying demands and stressors, from career and financial pressure to childcare and home school, etc. For me, our blended family and loved ones are always my first priority, and I’ve kept up with my coaching group too. Working from home and being around my kids more has been such a blessing, even if I’m working while they’re around during the day. But my day job as a lawyer and home schooling my kids have dominated a lot of my time. Plus, there are so many amazing opportunities for continuing to grow and support this community which is so inspiring — like the one we’re sharing below!
I’ve learned a few important lessons lately that I will share with you over the coming weeks. The main thing is that my morning routine, which really starts before bed each evening, is everything for my mental, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.
One thing we all know is that at some point we will return to a new normal. We can’t be sure what exactly that will look like. It won’t be exactly the same for everyone. More than anything, I see so much light and opportunity at the end of this tunnel.
