best vitamins and supplements for kids

Supplementing with specific nutrients can be important for some children. There are many factors that are considered when choosing the regime for your child. Some of these include: age, health status, activity level, and overall diet. A good quality multivitamin is generally recommended for most children two years and older however always consult your healthcare provider to determine if vitamins would benefit your child.

Although a children’s multivitamin or other supplement can be helpful to fill in the gaps when a diet is less than perfect, some of these are loaded with sugar and food dyes. Choose supplements that are low in these additives to help prevent unnecessary calories, these can also be hard on their growing teeth.
