The introduction of solids is generally recommended between four and six months but you should always consult with your child’s qualified healthcare provider first.

Depending on the healthcare provider consulted, the suggested timing and order for introducing certain foods to your baby could vary significantly. If there is a history of food sensitivity reactions in a family member (mom dad and/or sibling) such as eczema or asthma, your healthcare provider may recommend that certain foods be introduced slower.

Check out my hypoallergenic food introduction chart available here for tips for introducing new foods to babies from six months onward.
